This instrument benefits from knowledge gained
during the development of the CFX concert
grand.
Soundboard, ribs and braces are improved.
These parts are significant for the development
of sound. A new type of strings supports the new
design and enables the wonderful, bright sound
of the XA model.
The stronger, newly designed ribs and the sound-
board are glued together with the use of a special
method. The construction results in a perfectly
shaped crown, which guarantees highest stability.
The braces of the XA series are completely
remodelled, which provides a powerful, brilliant
and steady sound.
